ICED PINK - BALL HOCKEY TOURNAMENT - October 22, 2011 - Vaughan Womens Ball Hockey League entered a team to play in the 1st ever Iced Pink ball hockey tournament, which was held at the Powerade Centre in Brampton for Cancer. Your VWBH team won the tournament, going undefeated and helped raise close to $2,400 for Cancer. Thank you to the following player for participating to play: Tamara Terranova, Stella Arcuri, Linda Spina, Diane Valihno, Sharon Kent, Jenn Yarndley, Sara Vitelli, Cristy Coroa, Darlene Coroa, Sophia Dhrolia, and Bruna Mariano.

Congratulations to the Vaughan Womens Ball Hockey - All-Star Team who attended the Walter Gretzky Ball Hockey Tournament on June 3 to 5, 2011, in Brantford, Ontario and went all the way to the finals, only to lose in the Finals to The University of Toronto - Varsity Hockey Team!!! You should be proud of your Vaughan All-Stars for their great effort. The Walter Gretzky Tournament had more than 2,000 participants and over 200 teams!!!
